Introduction to Quantum Computing: Programming and Theory

I intend to cover:
- quantum theory:

1. introduction to quantum computing
2. introduction to quantum computers
3. basic circuits and building blocks
4. algorithms threatening cryptography (Shor, Grover)

- compute a basic circuit by hand (helps understading)
- computing with quskit: circuit library and python bindings

Disclaimer: I only work against quantum computers, this is very much a hobby.
The talk will contain inaccuracies.

• Talk language: English (German possible, but a bit more uncomfortable due to

terminology)

• basic algebra

• Laptop (ideally intall qiskit before: pip install qiskit )
• Paper
