Iridium Constellation Status

Active Satellites

These “logical” satellites have been observed passing over our receiver during the period of one day.

The data is extracted from periodic beacons which the satellites transmit. The list therefore contains “logical” satellites (it is possible that two ore more physical satellites form one logical satellite. See also http://www.rod.sladen.org.uk/iridium.htm).

03 05 07 08 10 11 12 13 14 15 18 19 20 21 22 23 25 30 31 32 34 35 37 40 41 43 45 46 47 49 50 51 52 53 54 55 56 58 59 60 61 62 64 65 66 67 68 70 72 75 76 77 80 81 82 83 84 86 91 94 95 96 97 98

In total 64 satellites, two less than needed for a full constellation.

As mentioned on http://www.rod.sladen.org.uk/iridium.htm Iridium 57 seems to have failed. The spares Iridium 74 and Iridium 90 are missing. They probably have failed or are for some other reason unsuitable to be activated.
