The uberbus daemon (ubd) is a daemon running on a computer providing the IPv6 connectivity. It detects
nodes on the wired and wireless interfaces of an attached bridge.

ubd can provide meta data of local nodes via multicast packets and an http interface.

simplelamp is a simple python script capable of serving a single lamp on the usb bus. It is much simpler to set up than ubd.
It does not require special permissions on the host computer.
It sets up TCP and UDP sockets on the host computer and accepts the same packet format as ubd.
