Keyholder

Known members may receive a key upon request. This key comes with a commitment to abide the ghost (called „Spirit”) of the club as stated in the Regelwerk.

“Known” in this sense is one who:

  • has attended three plenaries, and
  • has been a member for three months, and
  • is proposed by a member with a key at a plenum.

The proposal is made in due time to a Plenum. The proposer shall also announce the motion to the proposed person. At this plenum, the proposed person shall be present. If this is not possible, the plenum shall determine a regulation in the individual case. At the plenum there may be a debate (especially with a reminder of the rules), but no vote.

In case of violation of the rules, the key can be withdrawn temporarily or permanently according to the process determined in the rules.

Each group needs a MuCCC member with a key to make sure that the rooms are left as they were found. This person must be present at meetings and take care of unlocking and locking. If necessary you have to soften the regulation from group to appointment.

Usually you are a member of the club and know keyholders who are also interested in the topic - talk to them personally or in IRC if they have time. If that doesn't work, send an email to members@lists.muc.ccc.de.

The rules for use by external groups are currently still under rules_for_roomsharing.
